Island Hopping Kayak Style
This tour offers a unique blend of sea kayaking, island discovery, and a bountiful BBQ buffet lunch and refreshments throughout.
Ko Thanan, nicknamed ‘Hamburger Island’ due to its shape, is a tiny island, around 1 kilometer (0.62 miles) in length and about 200 meters (0.12 miles) in width at its widest point. It is a compact and picturesque island, not at all developed, with a small beautiful beach that can be easily explored and enjoyed.
Ko Lon Island is close by but further out than Ko Thanan, and it is also bigger, around 4 square kilometers (1.5 square miles) it beckons more visitors but is similarly tranquil and relatively undeveloped with lush forests and a number of inviting beaches.
Setting off from Ao Yon Beach, get ready to cover approximately 2 kilometers of paddling the turquoise, calm waters as you marvel at the breathtaking coastal scenery all around.

No matter what your level of kayaking skills are, whether you are an experienced kayaker or have had little to no training and are just beginning your love for the water sport, the surety of a safety boat manned by a member of our team will accompany the tour, providing assistance and support if needed so that you can enjoy the journey with peace of mind.
Not only that, our kayaks and equipment – all the gear, paddlers, life jackets, etc, are provided. Our Whitewolf X-3 and X-9 series kayaks are the sit-on-top style with adjustable, practical, and comfortable chairs. They come as solo kayaks for one person and up to three pax on the double. Both have an extra seat for a younger/lighter person who will accompany you if need be.

Arriving at Ko Thanan and Lon Islands, you’ll be able to relax on this little gem and take a break from kayaking. You will have time to recharge and explore the island’s natural wonders at your own pace before and after lunch. Take a swim or snorkel the vibrant underwater world among the coral and rock gardens and tropical fish aplenty. You can even take your kayak back into the water and drop a line for a spot of fishing.
At lunchtime, we will lay out a delicious spread of food for you to enjoy. A BBQ lunch for you to indulge in, featuring a feast of fresh seafood, grilled meats, vegetarian options, and tempting sides. And the setting could not be better – the island radiates a natural, exclusive feel where you can enjoy your time.
