Phuket has several excellent golf courses, and Phuket Country Club was the first golf course established on the island in 1989, built over a reclaimed tin mine site.
One of the highlights of Phuket Country Club and Driving Range is the natural scenery surrounding it. Kathu is particularly nature-orientated, with many natural features. It is a busy but more relaxed, down-to-earth suburb of Phuket.

The Old Course is an 18-hole resort layout, and the Country Club Course is a 9-hole championship layout, offering 27 holes in total. The Driving Range, situated between the two, is extensive and has 52 bays.
Both courses feature water, particularly the Country Club Course, with the beauty of the lakes – but challenging – and come into play 90% of the time.
The Clubhouse facilities include restrooms, country club pro shop, and a restaurant and bar, which offers good local food and refreshments for those who have built up a healthy appetite!
