Hello and welcome to this month’s update on the goings on of the Coral Seekers team, and a Merry Christmas to you all.
We have been busy busy making dreams come true for couples who desire a wedding in paradise. Congratulations to Tia and Robert who declared their love for one another in a beautiful sunset ceremony on Ya Nui beach.
In November we had the very auspicious day 11-11-11. Coral Seekers managed to assist many couples to get married on this special day.
At 11’o’clock on the 11th day of the 11th month of the 11th year Horst and Karin said their vows to one another in a beautiful beach wedding in the South of Phuket. Horst and Karin had waited 22 years for this day and as both of their Birthdays are on the 11th this is one very special number. So we made it a day to remember. They said their promises to one another on Ya Nui beach, celebrated with a glass of champagne and then took an elephant ride in the hills overlooking Kata. A beautiful couple who had a wonderful wedding; well worth the wait. They even went home will a lucky cork with eleven baht in it.
Coral Seekers team were very busy on 11-11-11 making dreams come true for couples staying at The Dusit, Twin Palms and Le Meridien. Congratulations to you all; on what was a truly auspicious day.
Later on in the month Sandy and Allen had their wedding at a very quiet, peaceful beach in Khao Khad. They were joined by family and friends who embraced the romance and beauty of this wonderful union. The wedding party continued the celebrations with a sunset barbeque dinner at Coral Seekers private beach club at Ao Yon. Festivities carried on into the night with speeches, singing and dancing. A lovely event, fun was had by all.
Towards the end of the month a group from Novartis joined us for a fun action packed team building event. The group were set on a tuk tuk challenge where they had to navigate their way around parts of Phuket to locate challenges to be completed. Despite being unaware of what to expect the group got involved and had a great afternoon out of the meeting room. Well done to all the participants you worked well together to build a stronger team.
The 1st December we gave Andre and Heike the wedding of their dreams. The two tied the knot in the company of their children in a beautiful beach ceremony in Khao Lak.
On the 5th December each year, the nation celebrates the Birthday of His Majesty the King of Thailand, King Bhumibol Adulyadej. Throughout the Kingdom homes and businesses are decorated with portraits of the King as well as royal and national flags. On the morning of the King’s Birthday many people visit the temple to make merit, while festival celebrations are held throughout the day.
The King’s Birthday is also National Father’s Day, and Thai’s gather with their families to honour their fathers and grandfathers as well.
